Laurence joined Populus in 2006. His work has ranged from interviewing FTSE 100 CEOs on business challenges to local resident’s perceptions of council services, from moderating focus groups on assisted suicide with people with Cerebral Palsy to testing brand and campaign messages, and from exploring household budgets via the medium of brands of Baked Beans to political exit polling. Major clients he has led work on, or contributed to, include Nestlé, DLA Piper, BBC, BSkyB, Mencap, Nottingham City Council, Scope and a wide-range of PR, public affairs and political clients. Laurence regards addressing the all-important 'so what?' question and ensuring research leads to action as vital parts of the research process.
Laurence graduated from the University of Southampton with a First class degree in Politics and International Relations. He is an Associate Member of the Market Research Society and holds its Advanced Certificate at Merit level.
