Poll of Muslims – ‘Living Apart Together’

The poll covered the following topics: How Often do Muslims Pray; Issues Influencing Vote Decision; Which Organisation Best Represents the Muslim Viewpoint; Most Frequently Used News Outlet; Most Trusted News Outlet; Views on Religion; Views on Sharia Law, Should Sharia Law be Reinterpreted; Obedience to Sharia Law; How Far Must Councils go to Avoid Tensions; Is Enough Effort Made to Avoid Offending Muslims; Do Muslims Prefer Islamic State Schools to Mixed State Schools; Should Muslim Women Wear Veils; Do British Muslims Feel Discriminated Against.

Populus interviewed a random sample of 1,003 Muslims aged 18+ by telephone between 4th December 2007 and 13th December 2007. Interviews were conducted across England and the results have been weighted to be representative of all English adults.
