The poll covered the following topics: Regional Perceptions of the State of the NHS; Would Gordon Brown Improve the NHS; Will Healthcare Charges Increase in the Next Decade; Government Ministers Should Support NHS Modernisation even if it Means Hospital Closures in their Constituencies.

Populus interviewed a random sample of 1,007 adults aged 18+ by telephone between 17th January 2007 and 18th January 2007. Interviews were conducted across England and the results have been weighted to be representative of all English adults.
