Senior Research Executive (Business & Consumer Insight / Omnibus) – April 2016

The opportunity

We have an exciting role for a Senior Research Executive to join the fast growing Consumer & Omnibus Team. Populus has two core business areas; Reputation & Strategy and Business and Consumer Insight. This role sits within the Business and Consumer Insight business. We are looking for a bright and ambitious individual who is genuinely committed to pursuing a career in market research.

Working primarily on quantitative research (domestic and international) within the omnibus team, you will be exposed to online, telephone and face-to-face research methodologies and be given a lot of responsibility from day one.  Due to the nature of consumer research you will have the opportunity to work across multiple sectors including retail, FMCG, financial, technology, charities, healthcare, current affairs, leisure & tourism, and transport.  You will also be exposed to a wide variety of innovative research tools including online dashboards, video vox pops, ‘in the moment’ apps, online communities and a variety of neuroscience research techniques.

While the role will sit within the Business and Consumer Insight, and Omnibus team it is likely that you will spend the majority of your time managing and delivering full service ad hoc projects and trackers while also supporting the wider team with omnibus work.  You will be responsible for delivering high quality client deliverables from engaging PowerPoint presentations with infographics through to interactive online dashboards with support from our in-house graphics and data visualisation team.
