Multiple promotions at fast growing Populus

Populus, which was recently named the fastest growing research and insight agency by the MRS, has made a number of promotions across their Business & Consumer Insight and Reputation & Strategy divisions.

Laurence Stellings, who joined Populus straight from University as a Research Executive in 2006, has been promoted to Director in the company’s Reputation and Strategy division.

Associate Directors:

Business & Consumer Insight:

    • Tom Anderson who joined Populus from the BBC in 2014 has been promoted to Associate Director of Populus’s growing Qualitative team.

    • Laura Anderson, who joined Populus in early 2015 as a Research Manager from the Media & Technology team at Future Thinking, has been promoted to Associate Director in the Quantitative team.

    • Helen Clegg, who joined Populus as a Research Executive in 2010, has been promoted to Associate Director in the Quantitative team.

    • Tom Scrimgour, who joined Populus in 2014, has also been promoted to Associate Director.

Reputation & Strategy:

    • David Rowson, another to climb the ranks from Research Executive, has been promoted to Associate Director.

Daisy Powell-Chandler, who joined Populus from the Conservative Party in 2013 as a Senior Research Executive and who leads much of Populus’s work with the Charity sector, has been promoted to Senior Consultant.

Michael Simmonds, Populus’s Chief Executive, said: “I’m delighted that our exceptional growth in the last year has enabled us to promote these really talented people who are greatly valued by clients and their colleagues.
